What Our Clients Say

  • "We have used the services of Ward Hadaway (and in particular Joe Thornhill) on many occasions over the last few years and found the advice and guidance given by them to be honest, pragmatic and ultimately successful in all instances. We would have no hesitation in recommending their services to anyone seeking experts in employment law."

Gavin Wragby, Operations Director, White Bros.

  • "Ward Hadaway have been providing Employment Law advice and support to our business for a number of years and have consistently delivered a professional, high quality service. Either when dealing with day to day ad-hoc legal queries or more complex issues, their support is always considered, pragmatic and delivered in a clear, no-nonsense manner. A delight to work with."

Nicky Gallagher, HR Business Partner, UK, Armstrong World Industries Ltd.

  • "We have used the Employment Law Scheme offered by Ward Hadaway for many years now and would recommend it without question to other companies thinking of joining. As we do not have an in-house HR department we find it invaluable to be able to contact Ward Hadaway on day to day employment matters and to know that we will receive timely responses to our queries."

Graeme Beales, Operations Director, Helena Biosciences.

  • "Ward Hadaway have been acting as our professional advisors on employment matters for the more than a decade. Whilst we have a professional relationship we also feel they are our partners who provide solid advice not only on staffing problems but also on employment law and its effect on the business. Over the years they have helped with many of our employment needs not only with the business needs in mind but also to the benefit of the staff. We treat them as our ‘in-house’ HR department as we can call with even the smallest problem and receive rapid and clear instructions to solve any issues or keep up-to-date with legislation, freeing up our time to run the business. All of this is backed by a liability cover which means that we can be comfortable as a business that, if things were to go wrong, we have a backup on which we can rely. I have no reservation in recommending Ward Hadaway’s employment team as a first class, cost-effective solution to your employment needs."

    David Boyes, Director/Company Secretary, AESL.

  • "Home Group has used the Employment Team at Ward Hadaway for a number of years and always found their advice to be both commercial and pragmatic. Paul Scope, Graham Vials and the team have taken the time to really understand our business and we work in close partnership with them both in relation to individual cases and the continuous professional development of the HRD team and our investigating managers. We've recently received advice on a number of issues related to a major transformational change programme and found Paul’s support invaluable. I would highly recommend their services."

Dominica O'Neil, Head of HR, Home Group.
