Margaret has acted and advised a wide range of clients for over 25 years in all aspects of corporate legal work with particular focus on corporate transactions for owner managed businesses.

Margaret’s workload covers the full breadth of corporate legal services to a range of owner managed business clients from individuals to companies, banks, investments funds, management teams, entrepreneurs and SMEs.

She has extensive and varied experience in share and asset based transactions and in addition to sales, acquisitions and mergers her work also includes: advising on business mediums, corporate governance, shareholders agreements, articles of association and share classes and rights, EMI schemes, corporate finance including refinancing and securitisation, MBOs and MBIs, company restructuring and re-organisations including de-mergers, share buy backs.

Margaret is noted as “exceptional” in the Legal 500 directory and has been described as “providing timely service and practical advice”.

  • The sale of Bravo Inns, a privately own public house chain comprising 43 public houses
  • Equity investment to secure RaRE Innovate UK funding with subsequent sale.
