Jessica is a Solicitor in our Private Client team, based in our Newcastle office.
Jess advises on a wide range of private family law, including divorce and civil partnership proceedings, the financial aspects of a separation, child arrangements disputes, wealth protection matters such as pre and postnuptial agreements and protective orders.
Experience
- Advising clients in financial remedy proceedings following separation in a variety of circumstances, including where a client had significant health conditions affecting their ability to work, disputes over perceived assets and in circumstances where the other party was uncooperative with the proceedings.
- Acting for clients in sensitive children matters, including representing clients in urgent hearings to determine interim arrangements for the children’s care and preparing for contested hearings including finding of fact hearings.
- Assisting a client to make a financial remedy application on divorce with jurisdictional elements.
- Advising in relation to prenuptial agreements, in circumstances where family wealth was sought to be protected.
