Hollie advises employers in both the public and private sector from start-up businesses through to multinational businesses.
She regularly provides pre-dismissal advice in often complex situations, closely supporting employers when issues arise including situations involving disciplinary matters, grievances, performance issues, family friendly rights, sickness absence, discrimination, contracts, settlement agreements, restructuring, redundancy and TUPE.
Hollie also has experience in handling employment tribunal claims and can conduct her own advocacy.
Hollie has provided detailed advice to clients on the enforceability of restrictive covenants and was part of a team which successfully obtained a High Court injunction for a client in the recruitment sector.
She has also advised a number of clients around National Minimum Wage issues which are particularly prevalent in the care sector.
Hollie is a member of the specialist education team advising employers in the education sector.
She also provides training on a broad range of employment issues.
Hollie has a strong focus on providing a high level of service to clients, having come from a background of working in the hospitality industry for a number of years.
Hollie volunteers for Northumberland FA as a panel member deciding on disciplinary issues in the local football leagues. She also regularly attends Tees Valley Business Club events.
