Gillian is a Partner in our Employment Unit.
Gillian has experience in dealing with a broad range of employment matters.
She advises mainly employers on a regular basis, providing support and assistance in both contentious and non-contentious matters to a variety of businesses from sole traders to large financial institutions.
Gillian has been involved in the successful defence of numerous tribunal claims including claims for:
- unfair dismissal;
- pension rights;
- unlawful deduction from wages;
- contractual claims;
- claims based on Trade Union membership; and
- claims under TUPE.
She has also had experience in dealing with large-scale redundancy situations in the context of corporate restructures. She has provided advice on the restructuring of Boards and advised on the dismissal of senior executives.
Gillian regularly provides pre-dismissal advice in often complex situations and has good working relationships with a number of different clients, some of whom she deals with on a daily basis.
