Oliver is a property lawyer with 11 years PQE with the last 4 years spent as an in-house senior legal counsel for a FTSE 250 Company.
During his career Oliver has dealt with a wide range of property matters including:
- Land acquisitions
- Estate set-up for both residential and commercial developments
- Purchase of and management of investment property portfolios and estates including dealing with commercial and residential lettings
- Residential real estate development sales and acquisitions
- The development and sale of new commercial units including through forward funding transactions
- Working with lenders and insolvency practitioners on managing insolvent estates
- Planning Promotion Agreements acting for both developer and landowner including negotiating collaboration agreements
Oliver has keen attention to detail which allows him to quickly pinpoint key issues and uncover the root cause of any commercial concern whilst identifying creative solutions in a constructive manner.
He assists the Affordable Housing department with development matters such as the purchase of land and forward funding arrangements as well as property sales and acquisitions.
