As well as being up for the prized Large Law Firm of the Year category, Flora Mewies, an Associate in the employment team, has also been shortlisted as “Rising Star”.  Flora is a highly regarded employment lawyer, as well as having developed a strong specialism advising businesses on immigration matters.

John Murray, Executive Partner for the Leeds office of Ward Hadaway, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted in both of these categories.

“During the firm’s 30th year, 2018 also marks Ward Hadaway’s decade in Leeds, so it is particularly pleasing to be shortlisted this year.  It is a testament to the skills, dedication and expertise of everyone in the Leeds office that we are up for Large Law Firm of the Year.  It is equally satisfying that the judges have recognised Flora as Rising Star, since she is the personification of the firm’s hard working, talented and innovative team.”

The Yorkshire Legal Awards 2018 are announced at a ceremony in Leeds on October 11th.
