Manchester office has the ‘Y Factor’

Dalton Harris eat your heart out! Sean FitzGerald, a Partner in the corporate team at our Manchester office, has been showcasing his vocal talents during the charity ‘Y Factor’ competition, which last week returned to the city after an 8 year hiatus.

Sean was one of ten individuals from corporate firms in and around Manchester to take part in the singing competition, held at Gorilla. He sang the Tom Jones classic, Delila, in front of a packed audience and a group of discerning judges, including our very own Paul Johnson – dressed as Boy George! – another of our corporate team and Executive Partner in Manchester.

The competition raised over £56,000 for local charity Mancunian Way, which secures employment opportunities for homeless people so they can improve their lives. The funds raised are enough to run the homeless charity for some significant time, providing much needed support to its users.

Sean said; “The evening was lots of fun, especially for me – hopefully the audience enjoyed it too! Supporting our local communities is important to us at Ward Hadaway and we encourage all our people to give back wherever possible.”
