Ward Hadaway partners with Ice Hockey UK for Great Britain v Italy
5th May, 2026
Ward Hadaway is delighted to be partnering with Ice Hockey UK (IHUK) and supporting the Great Britain Men’s team in its upcoming pre-World Championship fixtures against Italy.
The firm will feature as a jersey logo partner across the four-match series, with its branding appearing on the Great Britain Men’s team shirts for fixtures in the UK and Italy. The games form part of preparations for the IIHF World Championship in Zurich later this year.
Two of the matches will take place in the UK, with fixtures scheduled at Motorpoint Arena Nottingham and in Milton Keynes, ahead of two further games in Italy. The sponsorship includes branding across the series, matchday hospitality and involvement in player of the match presentations at selected fixtures.
Ward Hadaway’s Phil Edmondson, a commercial litigation partner who specialises in sports law, said: “We’re very proud to be partnering with Ice Hockey UK and to support the Great Britain Men’s team during this series. It’s a great opportunity to be involved in an international sporting event and to back the team as they prepare for the World Championship.
“We’re looking forward to seeing the team in action and working with Ice Hockey UK over the coming fixtures.”
The partnership reflects Ward Hadaway’s continued focus on supporting national sporting organisations, teams and initiatives alongside its work with clients across the UK.
Tim Bratton, Interim CEO of IHUK, said: “We are grateful to Ward Hadaway for its support during this important series. Partnerships like this play a key role in helping us prepare for major international competition, and it’ll be great to see their logo featured on the GB Men’s jersey.”
The fixtures are expected to attract strong attendances, alongside wider visibility through IHUK’s broadcast and digital channels, as Great Britain prepares for the World Championship.
