Ward Hadaway appoints nine newly qualified solicitors
8th September, 2025

We are pleased to confirm the appointment of nine newly qualified solicitors following the successful completion of their training contracts at Ward Hadaway.
Having undergone their training over the last two years, our newly qualified solicitors will be working across a wide range of growing departments including commercial, corporate, employment and professional discipline and regulatory.
This year’s graduates are Aimee Winterbottom, Chloe Middleton, Colette Monahan, Daniel McNichol, Divyanshi Gupta, Eleanor Thurlbeck, Lizzie Collings, Lucy Baxter and Safia Kayum.
Caroline Jones, head of emerging talent at Ward Hadaway, said: “I am thrilled with the appointment of our newly qualified solicitors. These talented graduates have demonstrated great knowledge, tenacity and willingness to learn throughout their time here and I look forward to seeing them flourish in their new roles.
“Our training programme has developed many outstanding lawyers over the years. As a firm, we are passionate about maintaining an environment where our people feel supported, motivated and given the platform to succeed, so we can continue to nurture exceptional legal talent. Congratulations to all of our newly qualified solicitors on reaching this milestone.”
Ward Hadaway’s commitment to attracting and nurturing the best legal talent is a key pillar of our continued growth. The successful trainees graduate into a firm that has seen significant expansion this year, with the opening of a new office in Birmingham followed by the recent merger with Teesside-based The Endeavour Partnership, expanding the firm’s reach and capability across the North and Midlands. The firm’s total headcount stands at more than 550.
Eleanor Thurlbeck, who joins the employment team as a newly qualified solicitor, said: “I’m proud to have completed my training with Ward Hadaway and move into the next stage of my career with the firm. Over the past two years, working in four separate departments for six-month periods, the experience of learning from a wide range of legal specialists has been invaluable.”
“Everyone has made me feel supported throughout, and the emerging talent team and the training programme itself have been so helpful for providing constant structure and direction. I’m looking forward to progressing my career at Ward Hadaway and I’m delighted for all of my newly qualified colleagues.”
