Property partner joins Ward Hadaway Leeds

EXPANSION is continuing at law firm Ward Hadaway with the recruitment of an experienced property partner.
Property specialist – Simon Hellewell has joined the Property Team at law firm Ward Hadaway’s Leeds office as a Partner.
Simon Hellewell (pictured) joins the Leeds office of the Top 100 UK law firm with more than 20 years’ specialist expertise in a range of different real estate fields with particular strength in the house building sector.
He has advised a range of residential developers, including substantial regional house building companies, on matters including land acquisition, site assembly, joint venture agreements and overage on sites ranging from a handful of houses to major 300-home estates.
Outside of the house building sector, Simon has worked with developers, retailers, investors, lenders and insolvency practitioners on a broad spectrum of matters.
He has acted on acquisitions and disposals of investment properties ranging from high street shops to business parks and multi-million pound office premises in locations across the country.
Simon joins Ward Hadaway as the firm continues to expand its presence, both in Leeds and across the North.
Last October, Ward Hadaway moved in to brand new state of the art offices at 5 Wellington Place in Leeds city centre to cope with its expanding client base and growing workforce.
Speaking about his appointment at Ward Hadaway, Simon Hellewell said: “I’m delighted to be joining the firm at a very exciting time in its development.
