Simon is a Managing Associate in the Children & Safeguarding team and has over 20 years’ experience dealing with family and matrimonial issues.

Simon represents children, parents and grandparents in proceedings in the Family Court involving families and local authorities.

He is a Children Arbitrator and Law Society Children Law Accredited (a member of the Children Panel) and holds the Resolution specialist accreditations in children law – private, domestic abuse and financial remedies

Experience

He specialises in all areas of children law and his practise is mainly acting for children, through their Children’s Guardian, in cases brought by local authority Children Services departments due to neglect, parental drug or alcohol use, mental health, domestic abuse, non-accidental injury and fabricated/induced illness

He also deals with complex children cases involving separated parents and arrangements involving grandparents.
