Callum is a Trainee Solicitor in our Private Client team, based in our Leeds office.
Within the Private Client team, Callum currently assists individuals and families across a variety of personal matters, including:
- Drafting bespoke Wills, Letters of Wishes and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Providing support in the administration of estates.
- Assisting with the creation and administration of Trusts.
During his time in the Real Estate team, Callum gained experience supporting a wide range of commercial property transactions. His experience included:
- Dealing with post-completion formalities which included the submission of SDLT returns as well as the preparation of Land Registry applications for the registration of transfers, leases, easements, charges and restrictions.
- Assisting with the drafting and review of Deeds of Covenant for a number of large housing estates nationally.
- Conducting the review of transfers, leases, titles, searches and indemnity insurance policies, and preparing reports on title.
- Running a own caseload as part of a team dealing with a nationwide project for a client, involving the assignment of its leases, surrender of its leases and provision of guarantees for new leases.
Callum is also a member of the Junior Fee Earner Social Committee, contributing to the organisation of internal events and initiatives across the firm.
