Aisha is a second-year Trainee Solicitor in our Corporate team, based in our Newcastle office.
Aisha currently sits within the Corporate team where she assists with acquisitions of the entire share capital, buy-back of shares, share transfers, company incorporation and corporate reorganisations.
Previously, Aisha sat within the Employment team, helping businesses with day-to-day queries and Employment Tribunal claims. She has experience drafting contracts of employment and staff handbooks. She also assisted clients with managing internal processes such as disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence and redundancy procedures.
Aisha has previously completed seats in Real Estate and Social Housing Litigation.
In addition to her work, Aisha leads the Gateshead Mentoring Scheme, mentoring students interested in studying law or pursuing a legal career. Furthermore, she is a member of the Emerging Talent LinkedIn Committee, creating engaging and authentic posts on trainee-life.
Aisha enjoys socialising and is actively involved in external networking groups including the Women’s Legal Division, Junior Lawyers Division and the Young Professionals’ Forum.
