Ward Hadaway partners Richard Butts and Matt Cormack led the firm’s team advising Atomhawk on its sale to Sumo Digital, supported by Corporate Solicitor Clare French.

The law firm has previously advised Atomhawk on commercial and property issues.
Matt Cormack said: “We are delighted to have assisted the shareholders of Atomhawk on the company’s successful sale to Sumo Digital.

“Atomhawk has deservedly won global recognition for the quality of its work for some of the leading international companies in its sector.

“We wish the company well in its exciting new future under the ownership of Sumo Digital.”

As part of the deal, Atomhawk will continue to operate as an autonomous business with the same management and creative teams.

Ron Ashtiani, managing director at Atomhawk, said: “This investment and strategic support enables us to realise our ambitions to drive Atomhawk forward – expanding the creative services we offer and the imminent opening of a second studio in North America.
