Procurement in a nutshell – European Single Procurement Document update
19th January, 2016
In a previous update, we reported on the new European Single Procurement Document (ESPD).
This is a supplemental Nutshell in addition to our weekly publication to give an update on the ESPD. To read the original article, please click here.
What’s new?
We have been in touch with the Crown Commercial Service about their plans to release guidance on the new ESPD and what actions contracting authorities and bidders should take in the interim.
We have been advised that a Procurement Policy Note and accompanying guidance are to be published shortly (no firm date has been set) and that the standard PQQ template should be used until such guidance is released.
How can I find out more?
If you have any queries on the issues raised or on any aspect of procurement, please contact us via our procurement hotline on 0191 204 4464.
Please note that this briefing is designed to be informative, not advisory and represents our understanding of English law and practice as at the date indicated. We would always recommend that you should seek specific guidance on any particular legal issue.
