3rd March, 2015
TODAY is the day when we reveal the businesses who have made it into the Yorkshire Fastest 50 2015 – the comprehensive list of the region’s fastest-growing companies.
Sponsored and organised by law firm Ward Hadaway and backed by The Yorkshire Post, the list highlights and celebrates privately-owned companies in the region who have shown the largest growth over recent years with the aim of recognising high achieving companies and encouraging others to follow in their footsteps.
The Yorkshire Fastest 50 2015 contains businesses from a wide range of sectors from food and drink to transport, taking in everything from student accommodation broadband providers to steel fabricators.
It has been compiled in association with Top 100 UK law firm Ward Hadaway, which has grown its Yorkshire operation since setting up in Leeds in summer 2008.
Jamie Martin, Managing Partner at Ward Hadaway, said: “This is now the fifth time which we have presented the Yorkshire Fastest 50 and it continues to conjure up superb examples of all that is best about business in Yorkshire.
“It also demonstrates the sheer variety of companies who are succeeding in growing their businesses, creating jobs and bringing investment into the region.
“These are the businesses who typify the grit and determination long associated with Yorkshire and who are helping to power the region’s economy forward.
“As we await news of further developments on the Northern Powerhouse agenda and devolution for Yorkshire, we can certainly take pride in the efforts of these 50 companies who are putting themselves on the map when it comes to business achievement.”
Following today’s publication of the Yorkshire Fastest 50, an awards ceremony will take place at Aspire Leeds on Friday March 20 when the winners of the Yorkshire Fastest 50 2015 will be revealed by BBC Breakfast business reporter Steph McGovern.
