Nominations now open for Leeds Digital Festival Awards 2025

Nominations are now open for the Leeds Digital Festival Awards 2025, which celebrate the region’s most innovative and inspiring digital and tech talent.

Hosted by talent specialists byProduct and Leeds based law firm Ward Hadaway, the awards champion the individuals and organisations driving digital excellence across Leeds and the wider region. Winners will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday 2 October, with entries closing on Monday 11 August.

Now in its eighth year, the awards shine a spotlight on stand-out businesses, breakthrough technologies and the people shaping the future of the region’s digital landscape.

Andrew Maeer, owner of byProduct, said: “Every year we’re blown away by the quality and ambition of the digital and tech community here in Leeds and the wider region. These awards are about giving that talent the recognition it deserves and sharing their stories across the sector.”

The awards span eleven categories, including Entrepreneur of the Year, Tech4Good, Tech Innovation of the Year and Best Tech Place to Work.

Bill Goodwin, Head of IT/IP at Ward Hadaway, said: “We work closely with businesses across the digital sector and know first-hand just how much talent, energy and innovation is on show. Supporting these awards is a way for us to celebrate that and help promote the region as a brilliant place to launch, grow and lead in digital.”

The judging panel includes Fiona Haron (Deputy Editor at Yorkshire Business Insider), Deb Hetherington (Director of Innovation Ecosystems at property developers Scarborough Group) and Andy Roberts (Chief Marketing Officer at sports media business PlanetSport).
