Zoom

Join us for our Employment Law Update, on Wednesday 8th May.

In this webinar, we will review the legislative changes that took effect at the beginning of this month, including the changes to the statutory right to request flexible working and the new rights for carers to take leave. We will also look at some recent Tribunal decisions and provide our thoughts on what the forthcoming General Election might mean for employers so that you can start to prepare for any changes to come.

This webinar is designed for HR managers and leaders who guide and assist their colleagues on dealing with these issues in the workplace.

There were a raft of employment law changes which became effective at the beginning of April, including important changes to the right to request flexible working. Surprisingly, ACAS recently reported that more than 40% of employers were unaware of these changes.

There have also been important case law decisions that employers need to be aware of, including one of the largest employment tribunal awards ever made (£4.6 million) as compensation in a successful disability discrimination case.

Our experts will ensure your team is kept up to date, focusing throughout on the practical points of what this means for employers and HR teams.

You will be able to ask your own questions in advance via the registration form, or you can use the Q&A feature in Zoom on the day.

Please note that this event is designed to be informative, not advisory and represents our understanding of English law and practice as at the date indicated. We would always recommend that you should seek specific guidance on any particular legal issue.
