Each year the Yorkshire Fastest 50 Awards celebrate privately-owned businesses that are achieving strong, sustained growth across the region.

If your business is based in Yorkshire and has seen year-on-year turnover growth, you could be eligible for inclusion in the 2026 Fastest 50 list. Read on to find out how to enter.

What are the Fastest 50 Awards?

Each year, in partnership with The Yorkshire Post, Ward Hadaway compiles a list of the region’s 50 fastest growing businesses, calculated based on average turnover growth.

Now in its 16th year, the Fastest 50 list champions outstanding businesses from across the region, celebrating those whose drive, innovation, and leadership has powered them to grow.

Will your business make the list in 2026?

The Fastest 50 list analyses the previous three years of turnover figures of profitable, privately owned businesses from across the region, and is ranked by largest annual growth rate in turnover. The resulting list shines a light on Yorkshire’s business elite – the 50 fastest growing businesses in the region!

Yorkshire Fastest 50 criteria

To be considered, a business must:

  1. be a private limited company with a Yorkshire-based registered office.
  2. have the following over the past three years:
    • Turnover in excess of £1m
    • Turnover that has grown each year
    • A pre-tax profit

Any financial data you do send will be dealt with in the strictest of confidence, and only for the purpose of confirming your eligibility and creating the Fastest 50 list.

What happens next?

We will be in touch in the New Year to confirm whether or not your business has ranked in the Yorkshire Fastest 50 list for 2026.

In March 2026, all businesses that rank in the Fastest 50 list will be invited to celebrate at the annual Fastest 50 Awards, where awards will be handed to the fastest growing businesses in the region and the Fastest 50 list will be revealed.
