Ted is currently a Trainee Solicitor in the Housing team, based in our Newcastle office.
Ted is currently undertaking a seat in the Housing team, where he assists on matters for some of the region’s largest housebuilders. His work includes supporting large plot purchases, drafting associated documentation, and contributing to site acquisitions and land disposals to registered providers. Ted also reviews option agreements and infrastructure agreements, liaises with HM Land Registry and Councils, and will be undertaking site visits to gain practical insight into projects.
During this seat, he is looking forward to experiencing the fast-paced nature of housebuilding and the challenges it brings, sharpening his skills and developing a deeper understanding of the built environment sector. Ted is keen to work collaboratively across departments, while building strong client relationships and applying his commercial awareness.
As part of his training contract, Ted is eager to gain exposure to a variety of both contentious and non-contentious work, broadening his legal expertise and developing a well-rounded skill set.
Ted studied at Northumbria University, where he completed his LLM alongside the LPC. During his time at university, he served as a peer mentor and contributed to the pro bono legal clinic, gaining experience working on commercial matters.
