Natasha is a Solicitor in the Employment team, with experience in supporting clients across sectors with a range of litigation and advisory issues.
Natasha represents clients in contentious matters and has experience in successfully defending a variety of Employment Tribunal claims, ranging from complex discrimination claims to unfair dismissal and whistleblowing claims. Natasha takes pride in ensuring that clients feel supported through every aspect of the litigation process.
Natasha also advises clients on a range of non-contentious matters, helping clients to navigate grievance and disciplinary procedures, settlement agreements and redundancy processes. Natasha assists clients in drafting policies and procedures, to ensure that a pro-active approach is taken to preventing workplace issues, and she has experience in conducting internal investigations and providing employers with recommendations to improve their workplace practices.
Natasha enjoys delivering training sessions to clients, educating and updating them on employment legislation and best practice.
Experience
Natasha has experience in relation to all aspects of employment law, including:
- Defending Employment Tribunal claims including claims involving unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and unlawful deductions from wages. Natasha has particular experience in defending discrimination claims, ranging from disability discrimination and failure to make reasonable adjustments claims, to discrimination claims on the grounds of philosophical belief and race.
- Drafting contracts of employment, staff handbooks and consultancy agreements.
- Advising both businesses and individuals in relation to settlement agreements and exit strategies.
- Advising on grievance, disciplinary and capability matters.
- Conducting internal investigations into grievances, disciplinaries and company culture.
- Supporting businesses with a range of data protection issues including complex and time sensitive subject access requests.
- Delivering training sessions on a variety of employment law topics.
