Martina is a solicitor in the Commercial Litigation team and she is based in the firm's Leeds office. Martina has gained experience across a broad spectrum of clients, sectors and disputes ranging from providing initial advice through to court proceedings.

Martina has significant experience advising individuals and businesses of all sizes including sole traders, partnerships and limited company clients on a wide variety of commercial disputes providing practical and commercial solutions to resolve disputes.

    The Court of Appeal has this week handed down its decision in Churchill v Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council [2023] EWCA Civ 1416. This was effectively a test case which centred on whether or not unwilling parties can, in appropriate cases, be forced to engage in a "non-court based dispute resolution process".
