Maddie is currently a Trainee sitting in the Commercial Public Sector Team in our Newcastle office.
Prior to joining Ward Hadaway, Maddie completed a bachelor’s degree in history at the University of Bristol. Following this, Maddie completed a master’s degree in law at The University of Law, which included completion of the Solicitors Qualifying Examinations. Alongside her university studies, Maddie captained the women’s fencing team and gained legal experience by getting involved in student advice clinics.
Before starting her Training Contract, Maddie was a paralegal in Ward Hadaway’s Debt Recovery Team. As a paralegal, Maddie obtained valuable commercial disputes and insolvency experience.
In her first seat, Maddie is looking forward to building strong relationships with Ward Hadaway’s public sector clients and gaining experience in both the contentious and non-contentious sides of the team.
