Kieran has acted for a variety of construction and engineering clients including contractors, consultants, listed national developers and local authorities.
He has represented clients in a wide-range of dispute resolution forums, including adjudication, mediation and litigation; predominantly in the Technology and Construction Court. Areas of dispute have included defective work and design, payment, loss and expense, variations, extensions of time and contract formation, including declaratory relief.
Kieran is experienced in drafting, reviewing and negotiating consultancy appointments, collateral warranties, conditions of sale and standard contracts (JCT & RIBA); providing commercially astute advice.
Before specialising in construction and engineering, Kieran practised in civil and commercial litigation for over nine years, five of those as a litigation advocate. Kieran has acted in a range of complex and high-value claims surrounding commercial property, contract, negligence and insolvency disputes; including a multi-million pound IT service contract dispute and an eight-figure professional negligence action.
