Elizabeth is a solicitor in our Employment team, based in our Leeds office.
Elizabeth sat in the Corporate team as part of her training contract with Ward Hadaway, experience from which included:
- assisting on all manner of deals, from finance deals for large corporate groups to smaller family-run companies
- dealing with pre-completion matters such as drafting ancillary documents and articles of association, and post-completion filings, tax matters and updating company records
- meeting clients and intermediaries in a professional capacity and at events such as the Fastest 50 awards
Prior to that, in the Real Estate team, Elizabeth’s experience included:
- dealing with clients & counterparties directly throughout certain matters, developing working relationships with them with a thorough understanding of all the matters being dealt with
- researched and advised on a number of abstract land law points
- dealt with all aspects of transactions including billing, funds management and compliance
Elizabeth is also the default Leeds representative of the Emerging Talent LinkedIn committee, raising awareness of the exciting achievements of the Leeds trainees.
