Danyal is a second year Trainee Solicitor in our Real Estate team, based in our Teesside office.
Danyal currently works in the Real Estate department, acting on a wide range of commercial property matters such as property sales and purchases, landlord and tenant lease transactions and adverse possession claims.
Danyal’s first seat as a trainee was spent in commercial disputes, during which he spent time on secondment with one of the UK’s largest car retailers. While there he managed alternative dispute resolution matters, liaising with dealerships, customers and ADR providers to resolve disputes efficiently.
His second seat was with Corporate and Commercial. Here, he advised companies, directors, shareholders and investors on corporate matters, including high value sales and acquisitions, reorganisations, restructuring, as well as reviewing commercial contracts.
Danyal is part of the firm’s social committee and the Teesside office charity committee. He has taken part in a range of charity and community initiatives, including Walk into the Light, which raised funds for local mental health services, and the Middlesbrough 10k run in support of the Teesside Family Foundation.
Danyal spent the final two years of his undergraduate studies working at his university’s in-house legal advice centre, assisting with housing and employment issues. After graduating, he worked at Middlesbrough Citizens Advice for over a year and a half, supporting the local community with queries relating to housing, debt, benefits, employment and immigration.
