Dania is a second-year Trainee Solicitor in our Commercial department, based in Newcastle.
Dania’s experience includes:
- Drafting, amending and negotiating commercial contracts for clients in a wide range of sectors;
- Drafting and reviewing data protection policies;
- Drafting documents for corporate transactions; and
- Undertaking detailed legal research.
Dania’s previous seat was in Construction, gaining experience working on both contentious and non-contentious matters. She assisted the team on high value developments including three Purpose-Built Student Accommodation schemes, a luxury hotel, a nursery, an industrial units development and a number of re-cladding projects.
Prior to commencing her Training Contract, Dania was a paralegal in the Commercial Litigation team where she assisted on various high value and complex disputes related to contacts, insurance, professional negligence, PFI, and inheritance and trusts.
Dania enjoys socialising with colleagues and keeping fit at Ward Hadaway‘s weekly run club. She has volunteered with On the Up, helping local primary school children learn how to become entrepreneurs and promote their unique business ideas.
Dania has also provided mentoring to sixth-form students through the Gateshead Mentoring scheme. She is a member of the Junior Lawyers Division, the Women Lawyers Division and Newcastle Young Professionals Forum.
