Ward Hadaway hosts Minister’s visit

WARD Hadaway played host to the Exchequer Secretary of the Treasury on a recent visit to the North East.

Priti Patel MP, together with some of her colleagues from the Treasury, came to Ward Hadaway’s offices on Newcastle’s Quayside to meet senior business people from the region.

Colin Hewitt, Partner and Head of Commercial at Ward Hadaway, represented the firm at the meeting.

Colin said: “We were delighted to be invited to host Priti Patel MP and her team on their visit to the North East.

“The meeting touched on a number of important issues for business people in the region, including Air Passenger Duty and overseas trade, and it was very useful to be able to air those concerns with Priti and her Treasury colleagues.”
