Victoria is experienced in drafting, reviewing and negotiating consultancy appointments, collateral warranties and standard contracts and is regularly instructed from project inception.
Before specialising in construction and engineering, Victoria practised in commercial litigation acting on non-standard lender litigation and private client dispute resolution work, including a range of complex claims surrounding contractual disputes, property litigation and debt recovery.
Examples of her experience include:
- Advising a Local Authority’s project team on a major infrastructure project for a new energy hub under a JCT standard form contract.
- Advising an employer in relation to the construction of a new warehouse building under a JCT standard form contract.
- Advising a sub-consultant in relation to a new project on multiple prison sites under an NEC4 construction contract.
