Matthew is a Trainee Solicitor, currently undertaking a seat in the Planning Department within the Newcastle office.
In his current seat, Matthew is advising on a range of contentious and non-contentious planning law matters. This involves working with both national and regional housebuilder clients, councils, and landed estates across the North.
Prior to starting his training contract, Matthew completed the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE) with The University of Law. Outside of work, Matthew is a volunteer within the RAF Air Cadets, holding the position of Deputy Commanding Officer for his local Squadron.
Matthew studied at Northumbria University, achieving his Law degree, whilst also gaining experience as a paralegal.
