Katharina is a second-year Trainee Solicitor in our Commercial Litigation team, based in our Leeds office.
In her previous seat in the Real Estate team, Katharina assisted on commercial property transactions, including the sale and purchase of both freehold and leasehold properties. Katharina’s role involved drafting key documents such as sale contracts, lease renewals and licence for alterations as well as submitting Land Registry applications and Stamp Duty Land Tax returns. Katharina also developed experience in Real Estate Finance with post-completion formalities, primarily acting on behalf of lenders.
Prior to that, in her seat in the Social Housing Litigation team, Katharina maintained strong client relationships and drafted key contentious documents such as particulars of claim, witness statements and defences in preparation for possession proceedings, disrepair claims and injunction applications. Katharina’s experience also included attending trials and hearings with counsel in respect of possession proceedings involving a wide range of claims such as breach of tenancy, anti-social behaviour, trespass and claims arising from the Building Safety Act 2022.
