Jennifer joined Ward Hadaway as an Associate in the Public Sector Property Team in January 2016.
Jennifer qualified as a Solicitor in 2000 and has specialised in commercial property since then.
Jennifer’s background is solidly commercial property, having acted for large brewery clients, landowners, commercial owners, occupiers and private clients since qualification.
She has been involved in providing advice on issues surrounding asset management, large property disposals for brewery clients, as well as dealing with freehold and leasehold interests, sales and acquisitions. Jennifer has also been involved in corporate support work.
Before joining Ward Hadaway, Jennifer worked in-house for one of the largest country’s councils, involved in advising on the day to day management of its property portfolio as well as advising on the property aspects of its larger strategic projects, including advice on a Local Enterprise Partnership project, an Extra Care Housing Scheme and an Electric Car Charging Infrastructure project in conjunction with an application for funding from the Office for Low Emissions Vehicles (OLEV).
Jennifer now advises public sector clients, providing advice and support to schools on the Academy conversion process. She recently acted for a large Multi Academy Trust in relation to its extension and refurbishment works.
Jennifer acts for several NHS Foundation Trusts in respect of their lettings to third party occupiers as well as their own property requirements in support of service provision.
She has also advised an NHS Foundation Trust in respect of its conditional sale of a former hospital site to a housebuilder.
