Housing Management Law School – Autumn term
9th September, 2020
Join us at the next Ward Hadaway Housing Management Law School taking place on Zoom this Autumn.
Covid 19 resulted in the first interruption to Ward Hadaway’s Housing Management Law School since its establishment in 2013.
The Coronavirus Act and subsequent Civil Procedure Rule amendments substantially altered procedures and processes including a stay on possession proceedings for six months.
The Courts, and Registered Providers are now awakening from this enforced hibernation.
We will use our first HMLS in twelve months to consider the new Notice Provisions, the amendments to the Court’s processes, and what to expect from the Court Service as they anticipate an influx of new and delayed claims whilst dealing with the practical implications of court hearings and the need for social distancing.
Along with a roundup of Housing Law News for the last twelve months, we look forward to welcoming you back, as we take the School online.
The Law School is free to attend and exists to deliver training to Registered Providers of Social Housing across the country, educating and updating their housing management staff with the essential legal knowledge that they need.
