John is a Creditor Services Manager in the Debt Recovery unit.

He has more than 40 years’ experience in local government and is a corporate member of Institute of Revenues, Rating and Evaluation (IRRV).


John’s previous experience includes 20 years as head of the Revenues Service at the London Borough of Islington.

This role required collection and administration of council tax and business rates; ensuring that the authority complied with its statutory duties.

The key responsibility was to ensure the collection of approximately £300 million of revenue annually.
