Welcome to Pre-dismissal advice

The cost in both management time and legal fees associated with Employment Tribunal litigation is such that the management of a dismissal, grievance, redundancy or other employment situation can only properly be described as having been successful if the result is that Employment Tribunal litigation is never commenced.

Whilst the risk of litigation can not be completely removed we believe that by maintaining good industrial relations any risk is effectively removed.

The collaboration of our employment solicitors and Human Resources professionals provides a multi-disciplined approach which reduces the industrial relations and legal risks.

We provide pragmatic, practical and commercial advice in support of management in relation to every conceivable employment situation.

The extent of our involvement will depend upon your needs, the nature of the matter and will range from, being a ‘sounding board’ talking through management concerns and issues, to being far more involved and analysing evidence and drafting letters and meeting notes.

Matching expertise with innovation, we also offer a range of service offerings for day to day advice including:

  • Fixed cost for unlimited advice. Our experience is that charging on an hourly basis can deter management from taking advice and means that we are not fully integrated into your team. A fixed price for unlimited advice ensures that advice is taken at the earliest possible opportunity, unnecessary mistakes are not made for the sake of avoiding the cost of initial advice and ensures that we are integrated as far as possible into your team and quickly learn how you operate.
  • A fixed price for each task.
  • Time charged on the basis of competitive hourly rates.
