NHS Resolution launch second year of its maternity incentive scheme

NHS Resolution has launched year two of its maternity incentive scheme for all members of the Clinical Negligence Scheme for Trusts (CNST).
With obstetric incidents accounting for 48% of the total value of new claims in 2017/18, NHS Resolution are again supporting the delivery of safer maternity care. The scheme rewards NHS Trusts who meet the ten safety actions which are in place to improve the delivery of best practice in maternity and neonatal services. It allows Trusts to recover the element of their contribution to the CNST maternity incentive fund, as well as receiving a share of any unallocated funds.
