Kathryn has significant experience representing tenants, having come from a firm focussing on providing legal aid. Kathryn has provided advice to clients on a range of issues including: anti-social behaviour, possession, suspending warrants, unlawful eviction, disrepair and homelessness. In coming from a tenant’s perspective Kathryn is familiar with the Equality Act, the Human Rights Act, the Civil Procedure Rules and Pre-Action Protocol for Possession Claims by Social Landlords. In addition, Kathryn has acted as duty solicitor under the Housing Possession Court Duty Scheme (HPCDS) at both Manchester and Stockport County Court.
