Manchester professional advisers prove a national attraction

PROFESSIONAL services firms in Manchester have been praised for their work advising on a sale in the education and charities sector in the South of England.
Law firm Ward Hadaway and DTE Corporate Finance were chosen by Anglia Ruskin University to advise on the sale of its subsidiary Ixion Holdings (Contracts) Ltd to the Shaw Trust.
Ixion is a not-for-profit organisation working in the employment, justice, innovation, business start-ups and skills sectors.
Its parent, Anglia Ruskin University, which is based in Chelmsford, Essex, turned to Paul Johnson at Ward Hadaway’s Manchester office and to Andy Humphrey at DTE Corporate Finance in Manchester, to advise on the sale.
Shaw Trust, a Bristol-based national charity providing employment opportunities, skills development training and health and well-being services across the UK, used Andrew Millar at Brabners law firm, also in Manchester.
