Flooring specialist chooses Ward Hadaway

A FLOORING contractor which works on major developments across the country has chosen Ward Hadaway as its legal advisor.

Raised Floor Solutions, which is based in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, has appointed the Top 100 UK law firm to advise it on all legal aspects of its business.

The company specialises in designing, supplying and installing composite steel decking, concrete slabs and access flooring on a wide range of construction projects across the UK.

Raised Floor Solutions has won work on schemes including an £80m retail and leisure development in Cheshire, the Welsh National Sailing and Events Centre in North Wales, a state of the art data centre in London and a £28m student complex in Lincoln.

The company, which employs 40 people, has also worked on projects including shopping centres, car parks, hotels and health and education developments.

Graham Hewitt, owner and managing director of Raised Floor Solutions, said: “Because our work takes us all over the country and across a range of different sectors, we needed our legal advisors to have the same kind of national coverage and industry experience.

“Ward Hadaway fits the bill on both counts as a firm with a strong national presence and cross-sector experience.

“Like us, they are based in the North but offer a nationwide service. The fact that they have in-depth expertise across a number of different areas which relate to our business made the firm an obvious choice as our legal services provider.”
