Construction team builds up further

AN experienced construction lawyer who has advised on a host of projects and disputes across the UK and abroad has joined law firm Ward Hadaway.

He is an experienced advisor to the public sector, businesses and individuals on a comprehensive range of construction and engineering projects and disputes in the UK and overseas.

In addition to projects throughout the UK and Ireland, Tim has been involved in advising on projects and disputes in South East Asia, the United States, Russia, Eastern Europe and South America.

His expertise covers a wide range of areas including procurement issues, project structures, tenders and the drafting and negotiating of complex building and engineering contracts.

He is also experienced in all types of construction and engineering disputes including adjudication, arbitration and court proceedings in the UK and overseas as well as various forms of alternative dispute resolution including mediation and dispute avoidance strategies.

Tim has been praised by independent legal guides as “an extremely knowledgeable solicitor, with excellent communication skills” and is equally at home providing legal advice on developments in both the private and public sectors.

Recent private sector commissions include advising York Racecourse (Knavesmire) LLP, Simpson (York) Limited, Priory Federation of Academies and Eclipse Scientific Group Limited in connection with a wide range of construction and engineering projects.

In the public sector, Tim has recently advised York St John University, the University of Lincoln, London South Bank University, the University of Northumbria at Newcastle and Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in connection with the procurement and construction of major projects.
