Jenny is a Paralegal working in the Healthcare team.

Experience

Jenny completed the Graduate Diploma in Law in 2014 and is currently working towards qualification through CILEX. Jenny manages a caseload of pre-action matters to defend clinical negligence claims on behalf of NHS Resolution and numerous NHS Trusts. She is responsible for reviewing medical records, instructing experts and dealing with sensitive information whilst remaining compliant with GDPR requirements.

Jenny previously worked as a Paralegal in the Licensing and Regulatory Department and was responsible for applications for a number of businesses in the Leisure Industry to ensure compliance with the current statutory requirements. She also assisted in obtaining witness statements and progressing Road Traffic and Criminal matters to Appeal.

Before joining Ward Hadaway, Jenny worked as a Paralegal for nearly 4 years in Crime and Prison Law. She was responsible for obtaining witness statements, reviewing evidence and instructing experts to efficiently progress and defend an array of criminal matters. Jenny is experienced in liaising with a range of vulnerable witnesses and clients, particularly those suffering from learning disabilities and mental health issues.
