Elaine is the Ward Hadaway's Coordinator for the Government's Help to Buy Initiative within the plot sales department and has more than 19 years' experience in property transactions.

She deals with Help to Buy transactions, liaising with the local HCA Agents, Buyer’s solicitors and housebuilder clients.

Elaine also has experience of dealing with lease extensions both voluntary and in accordance with the Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development 1993, collective enfranchisement applications and disposal of freehold in accordance with The Leasehold Reform Act 1967 on behalf of a leading residential landlord.

She holds an ILEX Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law.

Experience

Elaine deals with Help to Buy transactions ensuring all procedures are met within the guidelines given by the Local HCA Agents and our housebuilder client.

She deals with all stages of lease extensions and collective enfranchisement applications from checking validity of the Tenant’s Notice, drafting and serving the Landlord’s Counternotice through to drafting the lease extensions and transfers.

Elaine has dealt with the sale of plots from start to finish, including post-completion work. This includes freehold and leasehold estates. She has dealt with part exchange purchases/sales including the registration of the property at the Land Registry.
