How do I apply?
Vacation Scheme and Training Contract
Applications for our 2018 vacation scheme and 2019/20 training contracts open on 1st November 2017.
Which route should I take?
Ward Hadaway offer two routes to obtaining a training contract. Which route you take depends on whether you are a law graduate or a non-law graduate and whether you would like a more detailed insight into the firm via a one week vacation placement in the summer.
Please see below for a diagram outlining the different routes you can take.
How do you select candidates?
It is critical we recruit talented people with the right mix of competency, skills, attitude and motivation. We therefore ensure our recruitment process is multi-dimensional so that you have the best opportunity to show us what you’re made of.
At every stage we assess the capability you demonstrate against our training contract competency criteria and our firm behaviours and values. We hold assessment centres and undertake interviews to ensure we gain a full and fair assessment of your capability.
We recognise some of this may be daunting so if your initial application is successful we’ll always provide you with more information so you know exactly what to expect at each stage of our recruitment process.
We are currently recruiting for the Newcastle, Leeds and Manchester offices. If you are an aspiring solicitor and would like to join Ward Hadaway you can chose to apply for a training contract only or a vacation placement and a training contract.
