WH In-House: In Brief 2016 (NEWCASTLE)
09th February 2016
As an in-house lawyer, you are likely to be asked for input on all sorts of topics, whether or not they relate to your core area of expertise. This seminar will comprise a series of short updates about recent developments on a range of legal topics of relevance to in-house lawyers.
Each update will last around 20 minutes, and will give you the key information, without overwhelming you with too much detail.
Whether you are following the new approach to Continuing Competence or the pre-existing CPD scheme, register now for this free event.
Each update will be presented by a Ward Hadaway specialist lawyer, and the topics that we plan to cover are:
- Data protection – the latest from the EU
- Employment update for non-employment specialists
- Company Law update
- Insurance Act 2015
- Property law update for non-property lawyers
- Cyber security
All packed in to a two and a half hour session and at no cost. Drop us an email regarding any pressing issues you are coming across, and we will try to squeeze something in on those topics where possible.
8.00am – Registration and breakfast
8.30am – Presentations
11.00am – Networking & Close
