Public Sector property update
03rd July 2018
Join us at our free breakfast briefing on Tuesday 3rd July, where Ward Hadaway's legal experts will consider the latest changes affecting property, land and estates in the public sector.
Following topic suggestions from attendees at our last seminar, we are delighted to announce that renowned CPO expert and newest member of Ward Hadaway’s Public Sector Property Team, Frank Orr, will lead the session.
Frank has over 25 years of experience across local government, planning, compulsory purchase and compensation and has acted on a wide range of regeneration projects, especially town centre and housing market renewal schemes. You can read more about Frank’s experience here.
As well as hearing from Frank, we will be also be joined by experts from our specialist Public Sector team who will discuss topics including:
- Contractor insolvency, how to protect yourself and lessons to learn from Carillion
- How to distinguish between a Lease and a Licence
- The implications of Energy Performance Certificates for public sector bodies
This session is designed to provide you with a helpful breakdown of recent legal changes, as well as highlighting key issues that you need to be aware of. The seminar also counts as two hours towards your continuing professional development.
