Ward Hadaway are delighted to invite you to our free seminar 'Preparing surplus sites for disposal' designed specifically for local authorities.
This session is being held at our Leeds office on Tuesday 8th July from 8.30am.
Experts from our specialist public sector property and litigation teams will guide you through a practical case study exploring many different issues that face Local Authorities when looking to dispose of sites, focusing on the key legal issues and problem areas. CPD will also be available for attending.
Some of the areas we plan to cover are:
- Securing vacant possession
- Mines and minerals
- Title due diligence
- Powers of disposal and appropriation
- Best consideration and state aid
- Procurement including Roanne
- Community asset transfers/community right to buy
