NHS Estates Forum
10th September 2019
We are delighted to invite you to a free half-day forum where experts will discuss some of the key strategic issues impacting on Estates currently. The session will take place in both Leeds and Newcastle city centres this September.
We are running the forum jointly with NHS England and NHS Improvement, Audit One (a leading not-for-profit provider of internal audit) and North Tees and Hartlepool Solutions LLP.
What will be covered
Emma Bolton, Regional EFM Lead from NHS England and NHS Improvement will discuss managing your information, including utilisation of Model Hospital as a tool to provide Board assurance and improve performance, the Use of Resources process, ERIC, and opportunity data.
Joining us from Audit One, will be Stuart Fallowfield who will be discussing Audit One’s experience from auditing recently established subsidiary companies, and setting out the key elements of governance, controls and assurance that should be in place to mitigate risks around such arrangements.
Melanie Pears, Partner from Ward Hadaway, will be speaking about efficiencies, improvements and latest updates on PFI and LIFT contracts.
Mike Worden, Managing Director at North Tees and Hartlepool Solutions LLP will talk about Integrated Care Systems and the issues to consider with regards to estate provision.
The session will be beneficial to:
- NHS Estates leads who have an interest in the Estates and Facilities metrics which are used within Model Hospital, including identification of opportunities and the Use of Resources process.
- NHS Estates leads with an interest in new models of care.
- NHS Trusts with PFIs and LIFT contracts particularly on how to make efficiencies with their contracts and for the latest updates on PFI and LIFT.
