Industrial action breakfast seminar (NEWCASTLE)
02nd February 2016
The Trade Union bill represents the most significant changes to the rules on industrial action in 30 years with the proposed reforms affecting the use of agency workers, ballot thresholds and severely restricting the rules around picketing and protesting.
As the bill makes its way through Parliament, Ward Hadaway’s expert employment team invite you to attend this free breakfast briefing, where we will provide you with an overview of the possible changes and outline how these reforms are likely to impact your staff and your business.
At this session we will look at:
- The likely changes to the law on trade unions and industrial action
- How these changes could provoke new forms of action in the workplace
- Exploring strategies for managing disputes
You will also get the year off to a great start with professional development
This promises to be another stimulating and thought-provoking session which will benefit line managers and all those involved with HR issues, helping you to stay abreast of the latest developments.
