Employment law update (Newcastle)
18th September 2014
PLEASE NOTE THIS SEMINAR IS NOW FULLY BOOKED.
If you would like to be added to the waiting list, please contact Ashleigh Chisholm on 0191 204 4046 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The session will be held at our Newcastle office on Thursday 18th September, 8.00am – 10.00am and will ensure that you are kept up-to-date with the latest changes in employment law. There will also be the opportunity to catch up with your peers on the issues that are currently affecting your businesses.
Responsibility for managing people also brings a need to keep up to speed with the fast moving world of employment law. The rapidity of these changes, coupled with employees who are far more aware of their employment rights than ever before, makes this seminar a ‘must’ to ensure you avoid potentially costly pitfalls and are confident when managing employee situations.
Amongst the many topics we will update you on are:
- Holiday pay and its calculation, the ticking time bomb
- Reasonable adjustments and redundancy scoring; why the fact the adjustment would make no different does not help
- Constructive dismissal. Is delay in resigning enough to protect the employer?
- Legislation round up and financial penalties for employers
This promises to be another stimulating and thought-provoking session which will benefit line managers and all those involved with HR issues.
We will also be running the seminar in our Leeds office on Thursday 11th September and our Manchester office on Thursday 25th September.
